Behavioral Health Urgent Care
Behavioral Health Urgent Care
We provide rapid access to psychiatric and mental health services to children and adults. We help prevent unnecessary visits to the hospital or emergency department by offering immediate assistance as well as connection to ongoing care and community-based referrals. The Behavioral Health Urgent Care’s goal is to assist our community members in filling their immediate mental health needs, including medication bridges, safety assessments, and crisis counseling as well as making thoughtful connections to ongoing services to assure continuity of care.
An individual should come to our Behavioral Health Urgent Care if they:
- Are having thoughts about harming themselves or others
- Need medications to address mental health concerns
- Are in danger of running out of mental health medications before they can attend an appointment with their provider
- Have a child who is required to complete a safety assessment with a mental health professional before they can return to school
- Are feeling overwhelmed and are in need of immediate assistance
