Understanding Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, and PTSD

Anxiety is a mental issue characterized by a feeling of unease, worry, or fear. It can often manifest physically through restlessness, rapid heartbeat, and sweating. Anxiety may severely interfere with daily life and lead to avoidance behaviors.

Depression is a mood disorder marked by persistent and often severe feelings of sadness, hopelessness, and disinterest in activities. It can also involve physical symptoms like fatigue, changes in appetite, and sleep disturbances.

ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder marked by hyperactivity, attention issues, and impulsivity. People with ADHD may struggle to focus, control impulses, and stay organized.

PTSD is a severe mental health condition affecting people who have experienced a traumatic event, such as a natural disaster, combat, or a crime. Symptoms may include flashbacks, nightmares, avoidance of reminders of the event, and hypervigilance.
